image Group of Mint and Used Old Auction Lots, in seven binders, with strength in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Sweden and Switzerland. These auction lots tend to start in the $20 range of old catalogue values and are often comprised of sets, singles, part sets or small groupings of stamps from the same country / period. The Germany portion is particularly intriguing with many stamps from the German Colonies, States and Offices Abroad, notably; China. This is a huge offering with over 360 lots in all, with an owner's old total catalogue value of $46,104. Although there are many images included for this group, there are numerous high cataloguing lots not shown. Great material for the re-seller or to add a significant quantity of better material to a collection. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)

image Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland Collections and Lots, Classics to the 1990s, on album pages in binders, in 102 cards, glassines, stock pages, etc. The Switzerland segment is derived from a number of sources and is the strongest. It includes many Helvetias and early semi-postals. The Austria portion consists of a neatly annotated collection on quadrille pages beginning with classics plus additional material. The Liechtenstein material also comes in the form of a collection on older album pages with additional material. We estimate that Switzerland will be comprised of well over 5,000 stamps, along with several hundred each for Austria and Liechtenstein. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)

image Belgium and Netherlands and Their Colonies, Mint and Used Collections / Accumulations, Classics to 1990s, on older album pages, in binders, on stock pages, in 102 cards, glassines, etc., all filling two wine boxes. Netherlands has the greatest quantity of material and is derived from more than a dozen sources. This portion includes several collections on older album pages including in an old Davo album. We noted numerous well-centered postmarks. We estimate the Netherlands, along with it's colonies, to total over 10,000 stamps. For the Belgium segment of this lot, there is a collection on quadrille pages as well as a collection on older album pages. We estimate there to be more than 2,000 stamps from Belgium, Belgian Congo and Ruanda-Urundi. Included also are some decent collections from the modern nations of Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Indonesia and Rwanda. We estimate these modern countries to comprise over 2,000 stamps. The grand total for this lot will be over 14,000 stamps. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)

image Large Collections and Lots, Classics to 2000s, on older album pages, in 102 cards, glassines, on stock pages, etc., all filling two wine boxes. Included in this lot are stamps from France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, along with a number of their colonies. The proportion of stamps from the various colonies, such as Mozambique and St Pierre & Miquelon is quite high at, we estimate, 20% of the total number of stamps in the lot, with proportions varying: there are, for example, more stamps for the French Colonies than for France itself. We estimate the total number of each countries with their colonies to be as follows; France 3,000, Italy 1,000, Spain 6,000 and Portugal 2,000, for a grand total of over 12,000 stamps. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)

image Selected European Country Collections from Classics to the 2000s, on computer generated Steiner pages, in nine attractive binders. Included are collections of France, Luxembourg, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland plus a modest collection of St. Pierre & Miquelon, the majority of which are comprised of mostly used stamps. France and Sweden we estimate to be a little less than half complete by album illustration for the regular issues to the 1990s, both with a few stamps extending to the early 2000s. The rest of the collections are sparsely completed. France comprises three volumes, Luxembourg and Sweden each have one, Norway, Spain and Switzerland are all at about half of a binder worth of pages. These are nice collections to build upon. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
