The Great Britain collection spans 1841 to 1995 and is mostly used early, becoming a mix of mint and used as it progresses. We estimate it to be about 80% complete in period and it includes Scott #s 4 (c.v. used $90), 25 (used $400), 32 (used $65), 34 (used $75), 39 (used $105), 44 (used $215), 48 (used $225), 50 (used $92), 61 (used $50), 84 (used $67), 95 (used $150), 96 (used $165), 108 (used $250), 122 (used $72), 136 (used $70), 137 (used $70), 139 (used $150), 146 (used $50), 174 (used $350), 179 (used $70), 180 (used $115) and 223 (used $60). This volume also houses an Ireland collection with stamps from 1922 to 1991, which is about half complete in period and includes #s 96 (used $90), 97 (used $110). The British Commonwealth portion of the collection runs from 'A' to 'V' in three huge Minkus Global / Master albums, and is comprised mostly of used stamps from some classics to the early 1990s. This collection is well on it's way, with some colonies more complete than others. High denomination and some stamps in the $5 to $20 range are strewn throughout. Australia, New Zealand and Territories have their own Master Global album and also stretch from the classics to the mid-1990s. We estimate New Zealand to be about half complete in period, with Australia also about half complete from 1913 to 1995. Also included are some stamps of the Australian States as well as a few from the Territories of both. Rounding out this large collection is South Africa in two Davo albums. The South Africa collection is almost entirely used, runs from 1910 to 1991 and is about half complete in period. Overall fine or better. (Image)
