image SAINT VINCENT: POSTAL HISTORY - STAMPLESS: 1821 folded letter datelined 10th Dec, 1821, rated 2N8 to Inverness, North Britain, reverse with St. Vincent Fleuron with ‘’S’’ cut away and C flattened recorded as type III. The letter reads in part: "return from Grenada where I have been for a short time purchasing SLAVES for a friend of mine, three and half page total. Usually poorly struck. Rare, very fine and exhibit quality and historical subject. (Image)
