COMIC HYDROTHERAPY PICTORIAL 1d FRONT + SET OF ILLUSTRATED WRITING PAPER - 14 Mar. 1879 front with 1d Red tied by "MATLOCK BATH/520" Duplex having a comic "I AM CURED BY STEAM" printed design alongside the stamp showing a portly gent in the steam room (with "May 1 1876 Newman & Co., London" imprint); the only example of this design that we can recall having seen. Plus 1851/7 imprint set of four similar "Rock & Co." comic hydrotherapy scenes printed on unused sheets of writing paper. Rare group, previously sold by us for £520.
