image Collection of Mint and Used New Zealand, 1864-2011, containing several hundreds of stamps, housed primarily in loose Lindner album pages and quadrille pages. The collection begins with a page of used 'Chalon Heads' with Scott #s: 32 (x5), 33 (x4), 36 (x10), 40 (x4), 41 (x3), 42 (x6). Scott catalogue value $1,204 (stamps catalogued at lowest value). The collection continues with a mixture of mint and used King George VI, ranging from 1935 to 1957, with a small selection of early Elizabethan issues. The collection picks up strength with primarily mint hinged (some hinged with scotch tape), singles, souvenir sheets and sheetlets , ranging from 1987-2011. Face value of modern mint totaled NZ$805. The collection concludes with a selection of Postage Dues (used J1-8, mint hinged J9-11, total c.v. $868), Semi-Postals mint and used (with a few miniature sheets), ranging from 1935-1964, and a selection of mint and used Officials, ranging from 1936 to 1942. We note a few small faults with the 'Chalon Heads', and roughly 40% of the modern mint hinged with tape. Online scans show a sampling of the lot. Overall, fine to very fine. (Image)

image New Zealand and Ross Dependency Mint and Used Collections, 1864 to 2007, on older album pages in three thick binders. The New Zealand collection we estimate to be over 80% complete in period by album illustration for regular issues. There is also a respectable back of the book section, particularly in the semi-postals, where many of the miniature panes are included. There are enough issues with both the mint and the used examples included to merit the characterization, 'dual collection'. Included also are hundreds of additional stamps in glassines and 102 cards tucked in here and there throughout the collection. The Ross Dependency portion is complete by album illustration from 1957 to 1982 and is mostly mint. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)

image Collection / Accumulation of Mint and Used New Zealand in Two Binders, 1882-2015, comprising of many hundreds of stamps and a few modern souvenir sheets, ranging from Scott #61/2583, in many Vario-style black stock pages. The lot begins with a sampling of pre-1930 used, with a mix of mint and used from the 1940s onward. A spot check of stamps showed mostly lower value stamps with a few surprises of $10 and higher, along with modern mint including roughly 30 booklets and 20 souvenir sheets. The face value is at least NZ$591 (counting 50c on up. We only counted the obvious mint stamps in booklets and souvenir sheets). The lot also contains selections of Officials, Niue and Tokelau Islands. Duplication is up to 5 in some cases, usually with a mint and used for some issues. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
