Better sets include Scott #s: 168-173 (c.v. $80 total); 203-217 (c.v. $184 total); 225-228 (c.v. $52 total); 275-288 (c.v. $93 total); 388-403 (c.v. $100), along with some stamps, ranging from the 1960s-1970s, cataloging over $10. The collection continues with roughly 100 souvenir sheets, ranging from the 1970s to the 2010's (the majority appearing to be in the 1990s-2000s range, with duplication up to 7 in some cases) and includes Scott #308a (c.v. $110). The lot concludes with about 20 Hong Kong Post collections including: presentation packs, definitive collections and annual collections, ranging from 1985 to 2000. image Mint and Used Collection, 1862 to 2008, on album pages in a binder. This collection is over half composed of used stamps and is fairly complete from about the 1930s to the 1990s, with a strong representation in the classic period. Better stamps included are #s 1 (used c.v. $110), 23 (used c.v. $725), 31 (used c.v. $100), 56A (mint c.v. $150) and 245a (used c.v. $75), with most of the high values for Elizabeth present. Also included are numerous extra stamps in 102 cards or hinged to the pages in stacks. In some cases there are both mint and used examples of a given issue. There has been a good deal of work done to build up the date inscriptions and watermark varieties within the definitive series. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
