The first stockbook contains early classics including 7 Scott #1 used Penny Blacks, with generally 2-3 margins from positions KA, NH, EA, TA, NJ, NL, PI (c.v. $2,625 total), along with Scott #4 strip of 3 with part plate imprint at left selvedge (c.v. $270), and a few 1847-1854 embossed stamps. The stockbook continues with 100 imperforate 1p reds and 12 imperforate 2p Blue, both with a few Maltese Cross postmarks, along with an assortment of roughly 300 used Victorian stamps, ranging from Scott #16/126 with a spot check indicating Scott #s 28 ($400), 55 (x3, $780 total), 64 (x3, $555 total), 108 (x5, $1,450 total), 209 St. George Slaying the Dragon (used, $600), along with stamps generally cataloging between $40 to $100.
