Collection / Accumulation of Mint and Used Gambia, 1886-1899, containing a few hundred stamps in four 10-row white stockbook pages. The lot begins with 39 mint and used embossed Victoria stamps, with a spot check indicating sideways watermarks and a few c.d.s. postmarks, with a few stamps cataloguing $10 and up. The lot continues with a few mint 1898 issues, along with mint and used, including sets and partial sets from Edwards onward with a few cataloguing between $20 and $60, including Scott #102-119 (m.h. $259 total), and Scott #120 high value 10sh SPECIMEN overprint. An interesting lot with online scans showing all the pages. We note a few small faults including a few mint no gum and a few with hinge remnants. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
