Collection / Accumulation of Mint and Used British Bechuanaland and Protectorate, 1885-1965, containing a few hundred stamps in six 10-row white stockbook pages. The lot begins with mint and used Bechuanaland including Scott #s 4 (x3, m.h., used pair, c,v, $160 total), 11 (x3, m.h. $87 total), 16-20 (#18 x3, m.h. c.v. $777 total), along with selections of mint overprints on Cape of good Hope and Great Britain stamps. The lot continues into mint and Bechuanaland Protectorate overprints and 1932 issues, with a few stamps cataloguing $10 and up, and continues with three sets of 1938 mint issues with Scott #124-136 (m.h., c.v. $208 total), and sets and partial sets in the Elizabethan reign. An interesting lot for the specialist or dealer with online scans showing all the stamps. We note a few small faults including a few mint no gum and a few with hinge remnants. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
