image EXTENSIVE JAMES OATFIELD AUSTRALIA STATES TOWN CANCEL COLLECTION, includes over 8000 various with most being different town cancels, about 95% of the cancels are on King George issues including dozens of "Roos" up to the 2/ values, incredible variety here which includes many rare and elusive towns from the various states, the overall condition is mixed as one would expect, many of the cancels have great SON strikes but some are also partials and lighter strikes but still readable for the town, mounted in two very large Scott Speciality binders with dust cases, the lot includes: NSW(2000 various cancels), Queen(1100), So. Aust.(1000), Tas.(700), Vict.(1600) and W.
