Memel, Parallel Mint & Used Collection on Hingeless Pages, 1920-39, A nearly complete collection of the German plebiscite, now known as Klaipeda in present-day Lithuania. On hingeless Lindner pages, mint is enclosed in the sleeve and used hinged onto the page. Among the better used are #1-17, 29, 30-33, C18 (with certificate). The collector was also thinking outside of the box, as we find additional items added, like paper varieties, gutter pairs, inverted surcharges (mint 44a-45a), corner blocks of C8-17, a mint pair with both types of #31, etc. Strong Lithuanian occupation as well, with mint N60-69 and used N18-27, N31-43. You may view this collection in its entirety online, generally Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 1.8 lbs. (Video for this lot) (Image)
