image Germany, "Im siebten Himmel" Parallel Mint & Used Collection, 1872-1945, Heavenly collection housed in three hingeless Lindner albums, mint stamps mounted in sleeves and used stamps generally hinged onto the page. There are a lot of items to list here, so without further ado, here are the some of the better used… #1-11, 12-13 (pen cancelled), 14-26, 27-28, 117, B34-48, B49-57, B59-67, B91-92, B105, C27-34, C35-37, C38-39, C40-42, C43-45 (with certs), CL4, OL16-21, Danzig 241-54, Latvia (Kurland) 1N20-23, and a whole lot of cancelled stamps during the inflationary period which catalog at enormously higher values. As for unused, hold onto your hat, because here they come… 45-51, 65A, 72-73, 79, B49-57, C27-34, CL1-3, CL5-6 and a ton of never hinged, which as you probably know, can catalog many times over the hinged price; here are some of the better ones… 363-65, 391-97, 398-400, 432-35, 436-41, 442-43, 444-45, 446-47, 448-51, 459-62, B23-27, B28-32, B34-48, B69-78, B79-89, B91-92, B102-06, B119, B134-36, B141-43, B148-59, B173, B292-93 (perf & imperf), C35-37, C40-42 (only 4m is hinged), Danzig 241-54, and many more. And how about the stuff not listed in Scott? Not only did the collector take advantage of the Lindner pages by utilizing the extra space on the sleeves for such things as Zusammendrucke, color shades, plate variations, etc., but there are many items here you will only find in the Michel catalog, for example, extensive Feldpost beginning with the very scarce Gebührenzettel für Dienstbriefe der Eisenbahngesellschaften (MiNr. I, with certificate); other unused (unless otherwise noted) include MiNr. 5 (signed Kesselstatt), MiNr. 7 used (signed Krischke), MiNr. 8, MiNr. 9 (signed Müller), MiNr. 10 (signed Pickenpack), MiNr. 11A (signed Mogler), MiNr. 11B (signed Dr. Oertel), MiNr. 12 I (signed Hoffmann), French Legion MiNr. Block I, II-V with favor cancel, MiNr. 13. And it doesn't even end there, as the collector has inserted numerous items of interest throughout, such as Halbamtliche Flugmarken (semi-official airmails) MiNr. 4 both used & unused, and a cover franked with Halle postage paid labels during the hyperinflation period of the early 1920s. As a describer, it brings me great joy to examine such a lot, but also sorrow to see it go. So please, whoever wins this lot, please take good care of it!!! Overall condition is much better than usual for this era, but will vary to some degree; nevertheless, mostly Fine to Very Fine, a good portion of this lot may be viewed online. Shipping charges apply - weight 16.6 lbs. (Video for this lot) (Video2 for this lot) (Video3 for this lot) (Image)

image Germany, Exceptional Specialized High End Collection, 1872-1932. Three distinct sections comprised of hundreds of mint + used stamps plus covers. The first is an in depth specialized collection of the 1872 issues containing several hundred stamps with values into the hundreds of euros up to well over a thousand euros each. A plethora of certificates are present for many of the better stamps, condition is mixed but many nice F.-V.F. stamps are part of this. Needs to be seen to fully appreciate the size and scope as varieties and shades abound. The Michel value of just the highlights alone is 46,495 euros or $50,000 plus USA. A great lot to breakdown for online sales or to augment an advanced collection, all stamps are carefully identified by a student of German philately. The 2nd collection is a super specialized study of the 1913 thru the 1928 issues mint + used housed in a 3 inch thick binder all mounted on pages with the Michel numbers and carefully annotated with varieties, types, shades and the regularly issued stamps. It is perfect for any Dealer or Collector to expand or add to stock, Rarely does a specialized collection such as this become available. There are also covers included in sections 1 and 2, Section 3 is a straight forward collection of Germany from 1872-1932 of several hundreds of mint + used stamps, while it has value the preceding sections are the strength of this very desirable holding. Condition is a bit mixed but there is much F.-V.F. The Michel or Scott value is quite substantial, see a sample online. (Image)
