image 1923-40, 740 mostly mint stamps and 3 souvenir sheets, starting with nice range of perforated and imperforated first definitives on watermarked paper, then practically complete including selection of surcharges 8k on postage dues (no expensive varieties), continued with all expensive sets of 1930's, such as Ethnographic and Baku Commissars, Lenin Mausoleum and First Decade without Lenin, Mendeleyev, Anti-War Propaganda, Moscow Subway, Spartacist Games and etc., followed by all valuable items of 1936-40, afterwards semi-postal and air post issues, including Moscow Zeppelin Flight (both perforations), Airships of 1931 and 1934, Ice-Breaker ''Malygin'', Stratostat ''USSR - 1'', Civil Aviation (both sets), Chelyuskin Rescue, nice and fresh unit, we mention sufficient portion of expertly regummed stamps, nevertheless many with full OG, generally LH, F/VF, Standard C.v. 1,340,000P=US$18,400 as hinged, Est. $6,000-$7,000 (Image)
