Set of Used Consular Fee Stamps, with a set of 25c to $5 singles, each with Canadian Embassy c.d.s. postmarks. The $1 has the "deformed 1" variety. Also a 50c and a $2 used on pieces from passports. The 50c is on a lovely piece with DEC.4.1964 datestamp from the Office of the Canadian Government Trade Commission in Salisbury, Rhodesia. The $2 is also on a lovely piece with MAY.6.1966 datestamp from the Canadian Embassy in Mexico. 1875 5c Registration Stamp on Cover, mailed from Windsor Ont (DEC.22.1875 broken circle free strike) to Sandwich Ont and franked with a single 5c RLS paying the 3c domestic letter rate plus the 2c registration fee (contrary to regulations). The stamp is tied to this yellow cover by a boxed REGISTERED plus another free strike, as well as three strikes on back. This is a modified version of Gray RPO #RY-69 which originally had "G.W.R." at bottom and was used in a railway post office. This cover is also desirable because if is the earliest known use of the 5c registration stamp, unreported in Harrison, Arfken, Lussey, etc. (Harrison reports JAN.12.1876 to be the earliest at that time). An important cover for any registration stamp collector, or postal historian, small opening faults at right still very fine and still with its contents. Accompanied by a copy of an article written in BNA Topics in 2012 fully describing it and it's attributes. (Image)

Collection of Mint Semi-Official Air Mail Panes, with CL7 (NH but with a few stamps showing light offsets and two stamps creased), CL8, c (NH, with two stamps showing "tall R" variety), CL9 (NH with fingerprint on two stamps and slight separation), CL11 (hinge on 4 stamps, thins on one stamp), CL43 (NH, crease on two stamps), CL43 (NH and fresh), CL48 (NH, but top stamp has a small thin and tear), CL50 (NH and fresh). Also includes the following three blocks of four: CL44 (NH), CL46 (NH, with varieties CL46i and CL46ii) and CL48 (NH and fresh with margin).
