1868 6c Brown Large Queen on Soft, White Blotting Paper, used with an ideal light barred cancel, fresh colour and almost perfect centering. The stamp has a light crease on its upper right corner perf, which does not detract from the lovely appearance of this scarce stamp. Very fine and one of the nicest examples we've seen, an undervalued stamp.

1868 15c Grey Violet Large Queen Pair, Each Stamp with a Different Plate Flaw, a mint horizontal pair from plate positions 9-10 (with sheet margins at top and right), with full original gum, hinged. The left stamp shows plate scratches at top left, and the right stamp shows a "Pawnbroker" plate variety at lower right. There is also a diagonal scratch between both stamps, at mid level. A lovely and fresh pair, with deep rich colour, well centered and very fine. A lovely item for the Large Queen specialist, as the combination of both popular plate flaws, freshness and ideal sheet margins proving the positions make this very desirable. (Image)
