Mint and Used Collection in a Large Carton, starts with a nice collection on White Ace pages, with some faults in the beginning, but essentially complete from 1928 to 1979, including very fine (mint hinged 50c Bluenose and $1 Parliament), also a UPU presentation book (1965 revised edition with blocks of four), and five stockbooks containing plate blocks from the 1950s to early 1970s, appearing to be all NH based on a sampling. Also includes nine small plate block albums and two plate files containing more plate blocks from the 1950s to 1970s, as well as miniature panes and postage dues. We noted Centennial and Caricature coil rolls in their original plastic dispensers, as well as approximately 100 glassines containing blocks and plate blocks of the QEII era (up to the 1970s). A group of 140 FDC, all with a cachet depicting a Canadian Mountie made by "Monsieur Timbre" (first we have seen), all with Ottawa machine slogan dated MAR.9.1973 and 7 have a red INTERPEX New York 1973 cancel. A stack of CPC New Issue cards from 1971 to 1973 in the smaller, less common format. Mint and Used Collection in 2 Binders, from 1859 to 1992 on Unity album pages. While we noticed some mint stamps, mostly in the modern era, the overall collection is populated with used stamps hinged on pages. The collection starts with used #14, 15, 17, 18 and appears complete from the Arch issue going forward. We noticed used SQs, LQs, as well as a complete Quebec set, a Bluenose and much more. The back of the book is well represented with a complete used sets of air mail, special delivery and registered issues (including the 8c). We noted two mint officially sealed stamps (OX3 and OX4). The Newfoundland stamp collection although partially filled, has some complete sets such as a mint pictorial and long coronation issue. Also included is the popular letterhead depicting BNA stamps used for advertisement by the stamp dealer Arthur A. Bartlett, with the better watermark. Furthermore, you will find a small group of Bileski stamp variety offerings including 5 stamps #790 with the 1 bar tagging (tagging database $25 each), some "stick n tick" covers and labels, a mixed lot of about 50 modern covers and first day covers and a small bag of mostly modern used off paper stamps. Mint and used Collections, starts with a used collection in a Minkus album starting with a 3 margin #4, and including some nice Cents, Large Queens (including a very fine #23), Small Queens (to the 50c, with early shades and four 10c values), Jubilees to the 15c, plus a 50c, complete Leafs, Numerals (including a 10c Numeral precanceled), and so on to about 1970, with Officials (perforated and overprinted), Registered letter stamps, and other back of the book. A collection of Winnipeg tagged issues is mounted on quadrille pages in a second volume, as well as NH Centennial issue study of papers and tagging (saw a block of 11 of #465ii, $275), and a number of booklet panes and mini panes, some still in their cellophane wrappings, and other NH material from the 1950s to 1970s. Valuable Collection of Both Mint and Used in a Lindner Album, 1852 to 1959, starts off with #s 4 (unused but cut along outer framelines), 4c, 5, 12, selection of Cents, basic set of Large Queens including mint ½c, 1c, 2c, a used #30c (thick blotting paper), and from now until the end the mint and used are alongside (over and under), starting with many Small Queens (with lots of used low values, mint to the 50c, Jubilees close to complete with used 60-62 and mint 60, 61, 64, close to complete from then until the end, with extra shades, a few blocks, saw 5c and 8c Scroll issues mint imperforate pairs, used pair of #203 with broken X, complete mint and used air mails, complete mint and used overprinted G and OHMS officials, selection of War Tax, close to complete special delivery, mint 8c RLS, and more. Starts with a #5 (used with small margins), 12 (used, small faults), complete used Cents (missing only the 10c), nice selection of used Large and Small Queens with better shades, a 1c and 3c Large Queen on laid paper (small faults), complete used Leafs, used Jubilees to the 50c, complete used Québecs and Admirals, almost complete used Numerals and King Edwards, then mostly complete used to 1950. Mint and Used Collection in Two Volumes, with many better items such as used #12, two nice shades of #17, a lovely #19, complete basic set of Large Queens, Small Queens have extra printings, perfs and shades, complete mint and used Jubilee set including unused $1, hinged $2 (heavy h.r.), unused $3, hinged $4 and regummed but very fine $5. Complete mint and used Leafs, Numerals, Edwards, Québecs, Admirals, most of the back of the book issues, and so on to the 1970s. The collection also includes a few revenue stamps including an uncancelled 1932 Canadian Pacific Telegraph stamp. Provinces are present, but sparse. Lot of Mostly Used Collections in Six Albums, mostly all containing Queen Victoria to modern, with an emphasis on modern used commemoratives. Best is a Lindner album with decent Cents, Large Queens, Small Queens and so on to 1951, including some mint alongside the used from the Jubilees-on. Others don't appear to have any high value stamps, still a good variety and mostly all clean. Also includes an old time collection of mostly Small Queens, with an emphasis on flag cancellation covers from 1897 and 1898, including some fancy flags, a nice illustrated 1c Numeral cover, some Royal Train covers and a stock page full of 3c Small Queens.
