image Group of 50 Schering First Day Covers, Some with French Language Enclosures, 1970-1984, the majority ranging from 1970 to 1972, with 13 being colourful Elliott-Marion envelopes, all having various enclosures including a few French language letters from Elliott-Marion (a pharmaceutical company in Montréal), beginning with "Cher Docteur" (the envelopes are addressed to a doctor), with the contents relating to the stamp issue, and in some cases, includes enclosures with advertising relating to the stamp issue in French. We note a few of the Elliot-Marion envelopes have English only enclosures. The remaining covers are #10 envelopes or larger, noting a few still have contents within. A very interesting group, with enclosures we have not seen before, and should be sought after for the French language content. Online scans show an overview, noting a few small faults with the larger covers. Overall a fine to very fine group. (Image)
