A few of the years included bonus covers for joint issues and some indicate that one or more FDCs had sold out prior to the on-sale date of these collections, making them the only original source for those FDCs. In subsequent years, these annual collections became wooden-boxed offerings. We have seen a couple of these packages in consignments over the years, but not in this breadth of years and quantities. Here's your chance to check for varieties and covers issued in lower quantities. On our inventory sheet, we noted the original retail price shown on the packages, which appears to be the face value of the stamps on the covers. Online photos show an overview of this group. There is some wear-and-tear on some packages and we saw several were opened, likely from rough handling rather than being checked and pilfered.
