image Extensive and Valuable Collection of Mint and Used, 1852 to 2015, exactly as received, filling a heavy Banker's Box with many different items. Starts off with a mint and used collection on Scott pages (stack is 7½ inches thick), with mix of mint and used at first, then becoming MNH from the 1950s to the end. Quite strong from the Large Queens to the end, with many varieties, many more complete booklets than is usually seen in these, booklet panes, back of the book, sheets, nice c.d.s. postmarks, paper varieties, better perforations, tagging and much more. Also includes a very good start to a stationery collection, from Nesbitt to QEII plus a good stack of modern FDCs. Just way too much to list everything here, viewing is highly recommended to better appreciate all that is involved. Owner calculated the mint face value to be in excess of $2,100 alone. Carefully catalogued by owner as very good, fine or very fine using a Unitrade 2013 catalogue, with inventory included in lot. A very nice collection worthy of a close look, as scans cannot do justice. (Image)

image Group of Collections in 5 Albums, starts with a Harris album with mint and used from Small Queens to 1950, strong in mint plate blocks and back of the book plus revenues, booklet panes, precancels, etc. Follows a spring back album with a mostly used collection, 1859 issues to 1940s, with stationery, a few covers, and more. A thick Senator spring back album contains a nice collection 1962-1968 with mint (often in large blocks), used, FDC (with better cachet makers), booklets and panes, varieties (mostly minor), tagging, etc. A used collection on Minkus pages ranges from Small Queens to 1968, with Jubilees, officials (perforated and overprinted), some nice c.d.s. postmarks, etc. Finally there is an album with very few stamps but where the pages were elaborately hand-drawn and written-up, for stamps from the 1920s to 1950s. Mostly used from First Cents (#17 unused), LQs, SQs (#40d used, ½¢ and 50¢ mint), then increasing presence of mint from the Jubilees (low values) onwards. We noted additional mint stamps such as #73 (10c Leaf), #101 and #102 (Québec 10c and 15c), #106-110, #112, #114, #118, (Admirals 2c-4c, 5c, 7c, 10c), some coils, and blocks of 4 from the Admirals onwards, used Bluenose etc. The one stockbook is dedicated to varieties from Centennial and Caricature issues. Good representation for the period, with duplication up to 20 of some. Also included is a Canada mint and used collection, in mounts on Lindner pages housed in one binder, from 1957 to 1978. Some faults to be expected but overall clean and fresh, with high catalogue value and we estimate easily over $200 in face value (mostly up to 17¢). (Image)
