Group of Over 230 Documents with Federal and Provincial Revenue Stamps, 1890s to 1970, note the following: 2 Dominion of Canada Thrift cards from World War I, both with FWS1 (x1). A World War 2 savings certificate with FWS 10, 11, 13 and 14. 4 Newfoundland documents, all with Inland Revenue stamps, 26 documents with Québec registration stamps, 30 documents with law stamps, with 4 from Québec, 10 from Ontario and 16 from Saskatchewan, 7 receipts with Federal Excise stamps, a 1954-55 unemployment insurance book with stamps in it, a Bill Stamp document, World War 2 ration books #s 1-4, and 6, 8 covers into Canada with "Customs Duty Free" machine slogan cancels on the back, a 1970 duck hunting license, a 1941 Ontario fishing license, 137 cheques with tax paid by revenue or postage stamps, 8 cheques with the tax paid by meter and 4 documents without revenue stamps, including deed of land and probate documents. Group of 1868 Third Bill Issue Sheets and Part Sheets, with 2c orange (block of 50), 3c (full sheet of 100), 4c (block of 42), 5c (block of 70), 6c (sheet of 100), 7c (full sheet of 100 in 4 blocks), 9c (full sheet of 100), 10c (block of 71) and 30c (block of 80 in 3 parts, with some damaged stamps not counted). The majority have either plate inscriptions or counters at top, or portions thereof, with full original never hinged gum, and unchecked by us for watermarks or perforations. All are scanned online, overall fine or better, with some small creases, gum defects, etc. (Image)
