Neatly tied by "Milwaukee, Wis., Jun 7, 1862" origin cds and matching small grid handstamp on cover to Digby, Nova Scotia, treated as an unpaid letter with "10" rate handstamp and reverse with matching "Boston, Br. Pkt., Jun 11" exchange cds, "Ud. States, Halifax, Ju 13, 1862" entry backstamp and matching "15 cts" due upon arrival; small portion of backflap missing affecting Boston mark, Very Fine, an interesting part payment usage, illustrated in Brookman Vol. II (page 33), ex-Haas.
