Institution, Islington, UK, letter dated May 27 1840 to 'His Reverend J Smithurst Red River Settlement N W America', Smithurst was born Sept 9, 1807 in Lea, UK and died Sept 1867 in Elora, he was ordained as a priest May 26th, 1839, the letter is cross written pertaining to church issues, f-vf.
