Grenada, 1861, Queen Victoria, two 1d green and a 6d rose, unwatermarked (Scott 1a, 2), canceled "A15", on a neat 1861 cover to Villeneuve-sur-Lot, France, with a red manuscript "8" rate and a red Dec 14 London Paid transit c.d.s.; the 6d is tied by a light French entry c.d.s. with a red "PD" handstamp alongside; Nov 24 Grenada despatch c.d.s. on the reverse, along with a Dec 15 Villeneuve-sur-Lot receiver; the right 1d clipped at the top and the original left 1d was apparently damaged at some point and has been replaced by another hinged into place, still an attractive and very scarce usage.
