Great Britain, Balance of the Collection, 1840-2016. Outstanding balance in 3 Scott Specialty albums; Queen Victoria issues are mostly used, with such highlights as (used unless noted) #1, 2, 5-7, 40, 49 (mint & used), 64 (mint), 70 (unused & used), 73 (unused), 78-107, 108 and 109; from the Edward VII onward just about everything is mint, and the collection is virtually complete from 1934, including the Postage Dues; there is also a very strong section of British Post Offices Abroad—virtually all mint. As for condition, the Queen Victoria issues, which represent about half of the catalog value, are average, with much Fine or better; the later, with only a few exceptions, is F-VF, NH beginning around 1950 (except for the Postage Dues, which are mostly hinged). All-in-all, a marvelous lot. Estimate $5,000 - 7,500. Suggested Bid $5,000-7,500 (Image)
