Cape of Good Hope, Triangles with Woodblocks plus Strong Mafeking Section, 1853-1904. A superior collection with 21 Triangles including three Woodblocks mainly used and a section of perforated issues with King Edward VII issues followed by 16 better used with neat cancels Mafeking overprinted issues on Bechuanaland stamps plus 1d + 3d Baden-Powell and 1d Major Goodyear issues used and three Vryburg overprints. The owner’s Stanley Gibbons values are: Cape of Good Hope £19,927., Mafeking Siege £5080., and Vryburg £605. Condition is a bit mixed on triangles and much better on Mafeking issues with most in Fine to Very Fine and all are in presentable quality. An exceptional collection please review the scans.
