1902 (30 July) cover from Pingtu to United States, franked with 10c Coiling Dragon, tied by a special cancel, sent via the German Post office in Tsingtau, with pair of Kiauchau 10pf carmine, corresponding "Kiaochow" cancel on back, Nagasaki and Kobe transits, backflap replaced, fine. Also included is a stationery 1c card sent from Tsimo to Hankow, showing a similar propaganda cancel (after the rebellion, many Boxers returned to Shantung Province. Special cancel was infrequently used by small stations along Tsinan-Tsingtao Railway to show continued contempt for present Manchu Emperor.
