Transvaal, An Advanced Mint & Used Collection, 1870-1909. A well described and annotated with Stanley Gibbons numbers exceptional collection of Transvaal with numerous high-value singles and sets, with many dozens of stamps neatly mounted on quadrille pages. We note both perf and imperf issues, different printings, V.R. overprints, a few reprints so identified. There are two £5 stamps that are not counted in the S.G. total catalogue figure. A clean, fresh, nice quality collection well worth reviewing. Mainly Fine to Very Fine with only a few faults.
