Lebanon, "Pearl of the Middle East" Mostly Mint Premium Selection with Unlisted Material, 1895-1965, Many better mint sets, like #108-13, 114-34 (minus 75p), C82-87, C147A-47B, J36-40 (blocks), and souvenir sheets, such as C149a (2), C153a (3), as well as Scott-unlisted of 313-14 & C243-44 (2), C221-22, C266-68 (2), and all three varieties of C101-06 as footnoted in Scott. Plenty more you won't find in the catalogue, like color varieties from the 1962 Fruit issue, various plate flaws, misperfs, numerous imperfs, such as a pair of CB13 and 187-88 on separate covers, and 20 proofs on card from the 1960 World Refugee Year issue. Some other terrific covers too, for example, two with Turkish stamps from the very early 20th century postmarked in Beyrout (Beirut), German Offices in Turkey #14 on a postcard with a Beirut cancel, as well as an Austrian Offices postal card (MiNr.
