India & States, Fantastic, Mainly Mint, Holding of Key Singles + Sets, 1854-2012. An eclectic collection with some mounted on pages and other stamps on black Vario sheets with the balance unmounted in glassines. All are clearly listed by Stanley Gibbons catalogue numbers and priced by S.G. It is a pleasure to view as it is top heavy in better sets and singles, mainly mint and into the hundreds of dollars in value. We note better issues from all eras beginning with Queen Victoria, Kings Edward VII, George V, George VI which is loaded with blocks, and much is N.H. plus Queen Elizabeth II, Strong India with Officials plus Convention and Feudatory States with blocks and larger pieces as well as sets and singles. This is a high quality holding of individual purchases with varieties and all collector formed. Check the scans to get a flavor but view in person to fully appreciate as we don’t have time to list all of the goodies here. A great lot to augment a collection or it is ready for immediate resale by S.G. or Scott with the work primarily done as it is already broken down and clearly identified and this can be a challenge with the States.
