Hungary, The Three-Course Collection, 1871-2000. Regular issues, Back-of-the-Book and Occupations, all served in three spotless slipcased Minkus albums, tastefully presented in black mounts; much early material is used, not surprisingly, but there is much mint, and much never hinged to be had as well; begins with a nice group of #1-6 & 9-12 used, #7-8 mint, early King and Numeral issues with shades and cancel varieties, and then runs nearly unbroken to the turn of the 21st century; we note a First Day cancel on post card of #104-105; 198-202a mint (both sets), B1-B17 & B18-B34 mint, C12-C23 never hinged with 2006 Texfil certificate, two sets of #C24-C25 (hinged, one lightly so), plus the full run of souvenir sheets and a very strong collection of Occupation Issues (French, Serbian, Romanian; Bánát Bácska, Debrecen, Temesvar, Transylvania & Hungary "P" overprints—most mint, a few used, a few signed various and/or multiple), with more in glassines, Fine to Very Fine with much better, one to savor. Estimate $1,500 - 2,000. Suggested Bid $1,500-2,000 (Image)
