image Massive Face Value Collection, 1950's-2021, in 35 albums full of face value postage, 8 of these albums contain mint sheets and 27 of these albums contain singles, blocks with the occasional mint pane (some of these albums are of topical singles or USPS yearsets). When we add up the sheet section (which should be the densest concentration of value), we come to a face value of over $5,600, much of which is made of forever rate panes. The remaining 27 albums should add up to another quite substantial figure making this easily worth our low estimate with the possibility of much more value, o.g., mostly never hinged, generally Fine to Very Fine. image Massive Face Value Hoard, 1960's-2020, 20+ USPS year-sets from 1970's until 2020 and 20+ albums, stockbooks and sheet file folders filled with singles and mint sheets, plus four shoeboxes. Some albums and the shoeboxes contain groups of mint and used stamps, so a bit of effort is required to sort everything out. On the plus side, most of the value of the face value postage seems to be grouped among the 2000-2020 issues, so there will be many sheetlets and forever rate stamps which will quickly add up. In addition there is a book of Kennedy half dollars with 25 years from 1964 on. So, get ready with a trash can and some sorting trays to mine all of the value out of this lot, generally Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 138 lbs. image Modern Face Value Collection, 1950's-2015, neatly mounted in 8 Scott National albums, plus another 13 stock books / homemade albums filled with complete mint panes, coil strips, plate blocks and booklets. Starts off as a pretty typical postage lot, with face value singles and plate blocks starting with the 3c, contains complete Liberty set 1030-53. Face value really starts to pick up in the 1990's when you start to see full panes and complete booklets until you get to the earlier Forever issues. Plenty of face value to be found when you take the time to add up the many sheets and modern issues here, o.g., mostly never hinged, generally Fine to Very Fine. image "Face in the Photograph" Humongous Face Value Lot, 1950-2010, A mountain of mint, partly sorted by denomination but for the most part a free-for-all. Full & partial sheets, plate blocks, booklets, coil strips and fistfuls of singles. Because there are only so many hours in the day, I counted up all the sheets which came to about $1,600. But that only accounts for a quarter or less of the overall volume. What you see in the second photograph has not been counted; the majority seems to be in the 8¢-13¢ range, but countless more higher denominations too. Avoid losing face by bidding today! Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 34 lbs. (Image)

Many 100's of White Aces pages filled with mint spanning 1938-2000 and eleven USPS annual mint sets still in their original envelopes. image "Face Lift" Big Number Face Value Lot, 1893-2016, Wait a minute! A face value lot starting at 1893? No one said you have to use all of this as postage. Many better you might want to hold on to, like #328-30, 548-50, 616 (NH block), C18 and many more. But the bulk of this is pure face beginning with a stack of mint sheet folders that adds up to $2,200 in face with approximately 550 Forever stamps. And that's just the sheets. The big pile of blocks, booklets & singles you see in the picture hasn't even been counted and judging from the amount of high denominations, there should be nearly as much in there if not more. Whatever the total is, it's a big number! Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 32 lbs. (Image)

image Modern Face Value Accumulation, 1950's-2021, loosely organized group of face value duplicates, plus many items which were never integrated into the collection. Here, you will find, groups of stock books, mint sheet file folders, stock pages, bags of stamps, full mint sheets, group of USPS postal packs full of mint sheets sorted by year (from 2015-2021), plus many more unsorted USPS retail packs. This lot will need to be figured in several groups, as you find the typical mint sheets and plate blocks of the earlier issues, but then you also have large groups of full and coil rolls of modern issues, where a few stamps were removed from each roll for the collection, along with various complete sheetlets, and finally you have quite a bit of Forever rate face value stamps, among the large Ziplock bags sorted by year and filled with complete mint panes. There is substantial face value here, especially when you start to count six years of Forever rate postage sheets and many modern sheetlets, o.g., mostly never hinged, generally Fine to Very Fine. image "Hot Plate" 60 Years of Plate Blocks Organized in Glassines, 1932-92, Many thousands of plate blocks arranged in catalogue order in glassines in a dozen boxes. Virtually all in multiples, but not mere duplicates; without a doubt, this collector had a Durland catalogue at hand and collected not only the varying plate numbers but positions as well. You will certainly find better items, such as #740-49, 756-65, 771, C31, E14, etc., but this lot will inevitably be looked at as a face value lot. How much face is certainly up in the air, but judging from the volume, it should be well over $3,000 in face but probably much more, generally Fine to Very Fine. image "Face the Music" Face Value Lot with Over 2,000 Forevers, 1950s-2020, Let's face it, postal rates keep going up and up, but at least by stocking up with forever stamps, we can beat the hikes. Over 2,000 of them in this lot, mostly in the form of mini-sheets, and many other high denominations. As a matter of fact, just counting up everything over 13¢ came to well over $2,000 in face and there's plenty more in mint sheet folders, stockbooks and a box of plate blocks. image Meticulous Plate Block Holding by Plate # & Position with High Face, 1948-74, Three long files and a smaller box packed with glassines; at first glance, it seems like just a bunch of plate blocks, but each glassine contains a card listing the plate numbers assigned to that particular stamp and the four plate positions. It's uncertain if all the stamps from this date range are here, as the envelopes are not completely in numerical order, but after numerous spot checks, the contents seem complete. There should be at least $2,000 in face here, but despite the high face value, it would be a shame to simply use this as postage given the tremendous amount of work undertaken to amass such a collection. But we'll leave that decision up to the winner of this lot! Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 16.8 lbs. (PDF for this Lot) (Image)

image Face Value Lot with Some Better Items, 1923-2013, On the face of it (pun intended!), this is a postage lot made up of mint sheets, a plate block collection in Minkus albums up to the 1970s, a mint singles collection up to 1994, and various annual mint sets and other binders. The majority is between 10¢-29¢ with many higher denominations too, like a dozen copies of the $2 Inverted Jenny sheet and many Express mail stamps. But there are numerous items you would not want to use as postage, such as plate blocks of #610, 615, 617, 830-33, 832c, C18 and a recalled Legends of the West sheet. Quickly flipping through without a calculator, a guesstimation of at least $1,500 in face seems very realistic. You are more than welcome to visit and tally it up yourself.
