Civil War letters and covers, collection of transcribed letters in 3-ring binder, most all relating to natives of New Hampshire who served during the Civil War. Many with the owner's write-up about the people and events involved in the letters; includes over fifteen patriotic covers and twelve patriotic letter sheets plus letters on ordinary paper. Letter origins include Fort Jefferson FL, London KY, Carrolton and New Orleans LA, Fort Sumner MD, Raleigh NC, Hilton Head Island, Morris Island and Port Royal SC, Bermuda Hundred, New Chaffins Farm, and Laurel Hill VA.
