image Burma, diplomatic pouch cover correspondence to the US, 1952-56, a superb, fascinating assemblage of 16 legal size envelopes, all franked by a diverse range of Burmese issues, addressed to the Psychological Warfare Section, San Francisco, with APO designations 343 or 500, both in Japan. All covers bear the customary, two line "This article originally mailed in country indicated by postage" violet handstamp in different types. Covers shows "The Foreign Service of the United States" corner cards, and all Burmese stamps, but for 2 covers, all are cancelled by Washington DC c.d.s.'s upon arrival. Outstanding, rarely encountered group, Fine to Very Fine.
