Here are just a few of the interesting pieces I yanked from the pile: 1858 Chile imperf strip of three of the 5c Columbus postmarked in Santiago with a postage due handstamp, 1876 Uruguay bisect of #38 cancelled in Montevideo with handstamp translated as "detained for lack of postage", 1916 Mexico inflationary postal card (H&G 126c) with a bisect of 518, 1920 Honduras first flight from Tegucigalpa to Miami, 1934 Honduras inverted surcharge (C74e) on hotel cover to Guatemala, 1939 Cuba gutter pairs of 340-41 in a block of four, and a 1904 Salvador cover with enclosed signed letter from the president at the time, Pedro José Escalón.
