Comprising Denmark 1851-200, Faroes 1875-88, Finland 1860-2000, Greenland 1938-99, Iceland 1873-1996, Norway 1855-2000 and Sweden 1855-2000, with a small selection of DWI and Karelia, and pages (no stamps) for Åland—all housed in five slipcased Minkus albums; each country virtually complete for the major numbers, including Back-of-the-Book (excepting some Officials, which have spaces to fill); this is a boon for the Classics collector, with #1's from Norway (nicely centered with unobtrusive target cancel) and Sweden, #2's from Denmark (plus 2a and 2b) and Iceland (mint), Finland starting with #4 (with a few of the serpentines much nicer than normally found), etc.; additional highlights (used, unless noted) include Denmark #3-9 plus 7a, 11-15, 1923-27 Kings, #C6-C10 mint lightly hinged, Airs and Dues, Parcel Post mint and used, and even a few booklets; Finland #4-13, #58 & 75 mint, #Q1-Q5, #Q6-Q13 never hinged; Iceland #38 with straightline "FRA ISLAND" cancels, #C9-11 mint (C9, C11 never hinged), Christian X and Ericsson souvenir sheets mint, Millennium Officials mint; Sweden #2, 4, shades/varieties/cancels array of 1855-72 issues, largely complete 1920s issues with watermark and paper varieties, Landstormen overprints complete, #LX1-LX2 unused, and a sizeable amount of face value given the booklets (some with cylinder or control numbers) and souvenir sheets present from the late 1960s-90s, Fine to Very Fine with much better, inspection a must.
