VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE CONFEDERATE MISSISSIPPI SECESSION PATRIOTIC COVER FRANKED WITH THE FIRST GENERAL ISSUE STAMP.

This outstanding design commemorates the date Mississippi seceded from the Union. Power Search contains a handful of covers bearing this design, as well as one other Mississippi secession design depicting a bale of cotton (FM-2), which is unique.
