FINE AND SCARCE EXAMPLE OF THE 10-POUND KING GEORGE V OF NYASALAND PROTECTORATE.
With 2017 Brandon certificate. SG £4,000 (Image)
VERY FINE. A HANDSOME ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1914 10-POUND PALE ULTRAMARINE AND DULL VIOLET.
A very rare stamp, as the vast majority of collections have the Nyasaland £10 King George V stamp represented by the 1919 printing (Scott 24, SG 99e), which itself is quite scarce, but comes up with much more frequency than the 1914 printing.
SG £8,000 (Image)
VERY FINE APPEARANCE. ONE OF THE RAREST STAMPS IN ALL OF PALESTINE. APPROXIMATELY TWELVE EXAMPLES ARE KNOWN, ALL OF WHICH ARE USED.
This is in superior condition to most of the known examples, which tend to have faults to varying degrees. The certificate notes "a magnificent used copy, one of the finest existing".
With 1993 Michael Bale certificate. SG £12,000 (Image)
