of circular datestamp with date inverted on forwarded cover, manuscript "Forwarded due" and "5" handstamp, originated in Confederate-controlled Norfolk with blue "Norfolk Va. Oct. 12, 1861" circular datestamp and perfect matching strike
of "Paid 5c" in circle, no indication of forwarding destination, fresh and Extremely Fine, an unusually choice handstamped Paid cover with two different rate markings
