York Am. Pkt Paid Oct. 10" circular datestamp ties bottom stamp, Very Fine, a colorful American Packet Direct cover, after the 1861-65 interruption of transatlantic service by the N.Y. & Havre line due to the Civil War, service was briefly resumed until the line went out of business in Nov. 1867 (only 29 sailings after resumption) (Image)
