Zeppelin Flights. 1931 (10 Apr) Egypt Flight card from Alexandria to Jerusalem, with 7 May arrival pmk, v.f. On the return trip from Palestine to Germany, L.Z.127 landed in Cairo and remained there for only 30 minutes. There was not enough time to unload all the mail and some pieces were taken back to Germany. This card was sent from Germany by train to Trieste and from there by boat to Haifa, finally arriving in Jerusalem on May 7th, 1931. Only a few pieces recorded, ex-Blau (Cat No. C3) (Image)
