Welcome to our annual summer auction slated for July 26, 2023. It is one of our largest sales in several years with over 7,300 lots to choose from.. Here are some of the highlights:
  • Excellent Canada with an extensive showing from early classics to modern including strong sections of imperforate pairs and modern errors.
  • A great section of Karl Lewis hand illustrated covers from Japan from the 1930's. Many have nice seapost cancels.

  • A good section of Ascension with many KGV varieties including Torn Flag, Cleft Rock, and Broken Mainmast.

  • A strong section of Netherlands and Colonies with many scarcer singles and sets.
  • A great section of France including some seldom seen imperforates and key airmail stamps.
  • Terrific array of worldwide covers, postal history and postcards with many unusual items, multi-franked covers and Zeppelins.

  • A tremendous offering of larger lots including collections, accumulations, box lots, dealer stocks, and estate lots.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EDT on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #363 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, July 29th.

Good luck with your bids!
