Vance Auctions Ltd. Sale - 353

- November 24, 2021

Welcome to our November 24th auction. This is our 49th Anniversary auction since we started running our sales back in 1972. We are continuing our tradition of offering our bidders a wide variety of worldwide material. This sale has over 7,100 lots to choose from with some of the best items that we have offered this year. Here are some of the highlights:
  • Over 1,600 larger lots from all kinds of countries including collections, accumulations, box lots and stocks. These are always popular with collectors and dealers alike.
  • Extensive Canada from 19th Century imperforate Pence issues to recent. There are many errors and varieties including a mint 5¢ Inverted Seaway and a $5 Missing Moose.
  • Classic Great Britain including a mint Penny Black, £5 Specimen, and rare Officials #O9 used, #O24 used, and #O62 mint with Certificates.
  • United States with many key early stamps with Certificates including #28 mint, #85B mint, and #118a mint.
  • Many interesting coin and paper money lots mostly from one Canadian estate.
  • Terrific array of worldwide covers and postal history from stampless to modern including some nice Zeppelin covers and Karl Lewis illustrated covers.
  • A nice section of Liechtenstein including mint and used 1934 Vaduz souvenir sheets.
  • A good section of Germany plus Colonies and related areas. There are some interesting postcards depicting the WWII Graf Spee battleship.
  • Many interesting aviation postcards including pioneer aircraft and pilots.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EST on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #353 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, November 27th.

Good luck with your bids!

All bidding at StampAuctionNetwork ends on Nov 24, 2021 11:59 PM EST
