Stars & Circles Elaborate Geometric (Putnam, CT), wonderful, complete strike of this, well, striking cancel, tying #65 to cover addressed to Canterbury, Conn., with Feb. 15 Putnam postmark alongside; extraneous manuscript line erased just above address, back with contemporary pencil figuring and damage to backflap, none of which detracts from the cancel's allure, Extremely Fine strike.
