Bermuda, "Pink Sands" Highly Specialized Parallel Collection of Mint & Used, 1920-57, In three legendary Frank Godden albums, a beautifully presented collection on quadrille pages, meticulously laid out with stunning artistic renderings of the stamp designs. But the best part of this collection is that not only does it appear to be complete for all the major numbers and the majority of minor listings, but this goes way beyond the Scott. In addition to multiple copies of both mint & used with many in pairs and/or blocks, you will also find an array of colour shades including the KGV & KGVI high values, variations in perfs (line vs. comb), watermarks including reversed & inverted, wet & dry printings, etc, as well as some proofs and specimens, covers, stamp booklets, and a page of German forgeries with the infamous "Liquidation of Empire" overprints on the KGVI definitives of Britain. Bermuda, Marvelous Mint and Used Collection, 1865-1992, An intact, nearly complete collection on Minkus album pages; highlights include (mint unless noted) #2 (no gum), 6, 15 (used), 53 (used), 54, 96 (used), 97, 126a (NH!) & AR1 (regummed); the only missing stamps of any consequence are the 1874-75 surcharges #11-14; condition is virtually all clean and F-VF, with the mint QEIIand some of the KGVI—being NH. Bermuda, Becoming Collection of Used, 1865-1953, hinged on Scott Specialty pages, a lovely holding with vibrant color and attractive cancels throughout; begins with two each #1 and #2, with solid Victorias and King Edward VII Caravels including 2s and 5s Keyplates; Tercentenary issue complete, 1922-34 2s6d through 12s6d Keyplates (the last with closed tear), Silver Jubilees, and on through 1953 Coronation, Very Fine overall, fully imaged online; a delight to see.
