LotNo. Symbol CatNo. Lot Description
2711   imageYugoslavia & Republics, Valuable Holding of Mint Sets & Sheets, 1921-2006, Hundreds of miniature sheets & sheetlets ranging from four stamps to panes of 25, nearly all from the 1980s to 2000s and mostly Croatia, Slovenia and Yugoslavia. Additional piles of glassines with mint sets from the same time period for the above-mentioned countries as well as Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia and Serbia. And although the bulk of this lot is from the modern era, there is much more to discover with much premium material including former auction lots. Some better include Croatia #B1-2 (full sheets of 24), B7-10 (imperf pairs & pairs imperf between), B25-27 (perf & imperf panes of 9), B41 (with printer's mark, MiNr. 117 I), B56-59 (imperf panes of 8), B75 (imperf, signed Rommerskirchen), Ljubljana (Laibach) N55-70, Montenegro 2NC10-17, Serbia 2N42-46 (sheet of 24), Trieste (Zone B) RAJ3, Yugoslavia C45-47. Also, numerous other items not found in Scott, like the German Occupation of Kotor (Montenegro) MiNr. 2, 4-6, including plate varieties and all signed Pickenpack), and the German Occupation of Zara (Croatia) MiNr. 20 I-IV, 21-22, 37-38, all with Sismondo certificates. And plenty not even listed in Michel, such as numerous other imperforate pairs and pairs imperforate between, trial color proofs, double impressions, and colors omitted. A gold mine for the collector of this area and enormous retail value for the reseller, generally Fine to Very Fine, additional images available online. Shipping charges apply - weight 26 lbs. 2712   imageYugoslavia & Republics, "Counter Offer" Mint Souvenir Sheets, Booklets & Blocks in Counter Books, 1942-2021, The former Yugoslavia along with its republics, the modern nations of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia, all housed in eight counter books with incredible mint stock of strictly souvenir sheets, booklets and se-tenant blocks & strips right up almost to the present day. Some better earlier material, like Yugoslavia #611 (2), 662a (3), 1042-43 (sheets of 9), C33a, C43 (2), Trieste (Zone B) 65a (4), C17 (3), C17a (3), Croatia B11-12 (3), B31 (5, perf & imperf), Serbia 2NB5 (4), 2NB6 (3), 2NB27-28 (3), but the emphasis is unquestionably on the modern era, with many items in duplication but not crazy amounts, normally just one or two extras. Three books can be viewed online, but be sure to check out our other offerings, as this is just part of the vast holdings from a former stamp dealer on the West Coast, whose meticulous work in organizing and identifying each item, along with condition and catalogue value, makes this an ideal lot for the reseller as all the work has already been done, Fine to Very Fine, total cat just shy of $15,000. Shipping charges apply - weight 18 lbs. (Video for this lot) (Video2 for this lot) (Video3 for this lot) (Video4 for this lot) (Image)

2713   imageYugoslavia, Mint Collections of the Yugoslav Republics, 1904-2008, A dozen albums in total, eleven of which are hingeless and in excellent condition. Palo albums until 2008 for Bosnia & Herzegovina (3 including Croat & Serbian Administration), Croatia (2), Kosovo, and Montenegro and Serbia in one volume. Two more Schaubek albums for Croatia, as well as Macedonia and Slovenia in separate volumes until 1999. Virtually all mint and focused on the modern period following the breakup of Yugoslavia, these albums are only moderately filled. And what is so often the case, the worst album of the bunch, an old Minkus, has the best material! Lots of better sets and many of the key values signed, such as Bosnia & Herzegovina (Austrian Administration) #65-85, 86-104 (imperf), 108b, Croatia B73-75, Ljubljana (Laibach) N1-17 (signed), N18-33 (signed), NJ6-10 (signed), Montenegro 3N10-14 (5lire signed), Serbia 2N1-15, 2NB27-28, and a few Scott-unlisted items too, like Kotor (Montenegro) MiNr. 1, 3-6 (signed Pickenpack), including listed plate varieties, and Vojvodina (Serbia) MiNr. I-III, IX, XI. An extremely interesting area to collect and you can view part of it by clicking the links below, generally Fine to Very Fine. Shipping charges apply - weight 61 lbs.
