1879, 15¢ red orange, A.B.N.C. printing (Scott 189), two singles including one with trace of plate "No. 31" captured at top, both stamps tied by "Boston Mass." duplex cancels on 8 x 5 inch cover to Paris, France, sender's blue boxed handstamp dated May 5, 1887, "Boston Paid all Direct May 6, 1887" circular datestamp alongside and blue Paris 1887 double circle cancel at bottom, a beautiful cover in Extremely Fine condition, According to the Durland catalog, only plate no. 31 was used to print both Scott 163 & 189.
