Egypt Collection, 1866/1979, thick Scott album with many 100s of sets and singles including UAR and occupation issues, 19th century mostly used and with some duplication including shades and assorted cancels especially in the "Sphinx" issues, 20th century mostly mint with many issues an accompanying used example, many premium as (mint unless otherwise noted) 5 used, 50-59, 61-74, 78-91, 92-103 mint and used, 105-07 mint and used, 108-13, 114 (thin), 121-24 tied on unmailed envelope by Port Said date of issue cancel, 149, 168-76, 177-90 (many NH), 224, mostly complete after 1940 with most NH after 1960, C3-4, C3-4 singles on flown 1931 Zeppelin flight covers, C5-25, E1-5, J6-9 used, O1-20, O60-90, N1-56, NC1-24, etc. and ending with a couple pages of interpostal seals, usual mixed condition in earlier issues with most F-VF, ex- Bill Hamilton Collection. Egypt, Alluring Interpostal Seals Collection, 1860s-80s, presented on stockpages, 125 items (some apparent duplication, though with differing Types present) running from Aba el-Wakf to Zifte and including an Official "Sezione Economato" and overseas Constantinopoli and Dardanelli, all but one used; as presented on the pages, we find (Kehr numbers) Type III (5, #42-44, 47a, 52); Type IV (7, #78a, 81-82, 85, 95, 102, 105); Type IVa (round "O" in "POSTE", 17, #108, 112, 117a, 124-125, 133, 136a, 139-140, 144, 147a, 149, 152); Type IVb (#153 (5, 1 mint o.g.(!)), cancels including "Direzione Generale" and "Sezione Refuti"); Type V (7, #155, 157, 160, 161a, 163, 166, 170); Type Vc (9, #281-282, 293, 305-307, 314, 316, 321); Type Vd (10, #335, 341, 344-346, 354, 357-358, 360, 363); Type Ve (#377, scarce used); Type VII Die B ("O" of "POSTES" rectangular; group of 44 items #380//471); and Type VIIIA (red and red brown shades; 21 (16 different), #610//717; nice mix of cancel types and colors; some small faults as usual, but a lovely group nonetheless, Fine to Very Fine or better, fully imaged online.
