Australia & States, A Quality Selected Mint & Used Collection, 1851-1947. A carefully assembled mint + used collection of several hundred stamps all neatly mounted in a Scott album of both Australia and States. It begins with a page of mainly mint 1913 + 1915 kangaroos Scott $1290., we note 1915-1924 Roo issues include the 2 shilling and 5 shilling mint and both the high-value £1 and £2 Roos both used have a Scott of $3,600., and the page catalogues $4319., Scott 128 + 129 The £1 and £2 Roos used are also noteworthy and Scott for $1075., better mint commemorative sets from the 1930's are present, The Australia alone has a Scott value of $8361., The States start with New South Wales and 13-16 are used and the page is $1512., in Scott, Queensland is next with mint 74+76-78 at $1315., South Australia includes a mint £1 Scott 131 $525., Tasmania has 1857-1858 issues used, Victoria starts with used 3-4 + 17 Scott $570., Western Australia first stamp used #1 $350., Scott 22 is present but not counted at $2250., as it needs a certificate. The States have a Scott of $14,023. Quality is mainly Fine to Very Fine, a few N.H. most are o.g. or used, great value in key stamps. Shipping charges apply - weight 3.4 lbs.
