High Dollar Value Powerful Presidential Positional Block Holding, 1938-50s, in lovely Lighthouse stockbook of Vario pages with slipcase, containing centerline blocks, plate blocks and plate number strips 20, sorted by plate number, consisting of: 832/832c (102 centerline blocks and over 1100 plate blocks, sorted by arrow and then plate number, 20 plate strips of 20, plus some corner margin and other positional pieces), 832g, the scarcer bright magenta color (37+ plate blocks), 833 (50 centerline blocks, 89 plate blocks of four and 6 plate strips of 20). Overall condition is very attractive with mostly sound, fresh and well centered pieces, generally Fine to Very Fine with many very fine or better and some great candidates for potential grading as one would expect in a holding of this size and magnitude. Presidential Issue Stamp and Cover Accumulation (Scott 803//851), stamps include full sheets of 4.5c, 6c, 8c, and other low value issues without gum, 9 complete mint sets of singles, two complete mint sets of plate blocks, one complete mint set of line pairs, 21 complete mint booklets (mostly different), group of mint miscut booklet panes with large percentage of plate numbers, mint coils include 28 with leader strips and complete rolls of 3c dummy (roll of 1,000) and 1.5c (roll of 500) horizonal coils, a few freak stamps, large quantities of extra plate blocks including #832 (4), 832c (5), 833, centerline blocks of 832 (3) & 833, many precancels include complete Noble album, 1c sheet, Nos. 803-830 plate blocks, and complete 2c horizontal coil roll of 500, plus two small stockbooks of duplicates, a large stockbook of perfins, and a large stockbook of used singles, covers include a box and two binders of hundreds of commercial covers including many legal sized and many with perfin frankings including Pennsylvania Railroad, also a few registered penalty envelopes, a few with auxiliary markings including pair of 10c with 30c Transport mailed to the Philippines on Dec. 2 1941 that was opened and censored and returned service suspended (with letter) and a 1950 cover from Italy with 10c used as postage due, a couple from San Juan Puerto Rico, 1 4th class mail use, $1 on diplomatic Dec. 1942 pouch tag to the American Legation in Ottowa Canada, 50c solo use to Bombay India (backstamped), $2 as partial franking on cover to Tel-Aviv, few postcards with Naval cancels, also includes a 9c pair on Tin Can Mail, and 15 ingots of Nos. 803-817, few faults as always on accumulations of this size, overall Fine to Very Fine or better and sound, too much to completely image but you can and will enjoy seeing many of the highlights online.
