683   imageNetherlands East Indies, Highly Specialized Collection of Cancellations, 1791-1953, Two binders with 1000's of stamps on quadrille pages painstakingly arranged by type of cancel. Begins with a 1791 example of an embossed "V.O.C." from the Dutch East India Company, a stampless cover from probably the early 19th century, and a pair of #1 including one on piece, both with "franco" cancellations. Numeral cancels are presented from 1869-93 on the King William III issue from #1 (Weltevreden) to #120 (Toeren) followed by circular cancels arranged alphabetically from Ambarawa to Wonosobo. In addition, straight-line cancels, revenue stamps, and K.P.M. paquebot cancels, a truly one-of-a-kind collection for the philatelic gourmet and collectors of all things Dutch, generally Fine to Very Fine, video flips viewable online. Several hundred mainly mint singles and sets all in glassines with some mounted on black Vario pages begins with a mint Scott 1 and continues on with similar choice items and sets, a few better used are also noted but the main value is in the mint. Quality is quite nice and fine to very fine with few faults. Well worth checking out the scans or viewing to fully appreciate.
